Hey Coinlover...
That particular note was only printed by the following districts;
New York "B"
Chicago "G"
San Francisco "L"

It just depends as far as grade..just as coins are graded...this note is ~ 165.00 to 200.00 in current condition. I am building the New York notes Series 1914 thru present in all denomination up to the $500. notes. I have a long way to go.
I also have a collection of Eagles..Gold, Platinum and Silver...see the thread "The Eagles have Landed" in the U Coins fourm.

Thanks for looking..

Actually, I know a teller in my hometown and one day she came across a series 1929 NATIONAL CURRENCY note from the Richmond, VA federal reserve bank. She let me buy it at face value....

Does anyone know how much a 1950-E $50 bill is worth?...my dad had gotten some money at the bank and I thought one looked old and it was 1950-E....so he saved it and from what I hear its worth alitte bit but I'm not sure how much.
Its been lightly circulated---but someone wrote I think it is 3 letters on it...

Hey Speedster...
Swartz and Oakes list it at between 150-200 in Gem UC...if it were a fancy SN# then more of course..
Post a pic..and do not try to erase the writting...it will show up.
Whoops!! That the price for the $5 dollar.. will look it up for you when I get home..unless someone else can post right away.
