    any 2 dollar bills to look out for

    going to the bank for 2 rolls of quarters ( work and landuary money) 1 roll half dollars (to search threw and spend) and some 2 dollar bills to spend and maybe kep the oldest just to have. any bills i should look out for . or just the same kinda stuff on other bills radar ect

    well, at the coin show last weekend i was 1953 proof $2 going for $55 and the 63 for $45 but both of those were crisp mint condition.

    I think rickmp was confused when you talked about buying "proof" $2 bills. The word "proof" is used to describe coins minted on specially made dies. I've actually never seen someone use that term when describing currency prior to seeing your post. Interestingly, I have also never heard of anyone charging so much for Mint Condition $2 notes from 1953 and 1963. You can buy examples in that condition for far less money. The exception would be if they had a special serial or were star notes, etc.
