Man is that what you guys call a woody? I'm just trying to figure out why one side would be cleaned and not the other. I'm going to vote 53.

There is not much grain on it, but yes, it is a woody. Cleaned? i.e. = genuine?

Yes, I am not that experienced with woody's but I believe it is not a (genuine coin). Putting my vote in for 53 please.

Believe me, there is nothing special about grading woodies. However, they can be very difficult to see and, from what I have seen, they sometimes take a hit for being a woody.

This and http://www.cointalk.com/t205596/ will be ending tonight. New rounds will be posted, but how much analysis remains to be determined.

Wow again. Now up top 10 responders with 7 different answers. I can guarantee at least 7 of the answers are wrong.

My pictures don't do the wheats justice. They are the sharpest and most complete I have seen on a 23-S. The obverse is a good strike (again for a 23-S), has a few minor ticks, and, unfortunately, the slightest rub on the tie, cheek and lapel. I really do not see any rubs on the reverse. NGS wound up with an AU-58. Probably technically correct, but I have seen several coins with more wear called MS(AU)-62/63.

    Standings later.

    Dang, I missed it.....thinking too long! I think I'd rather have it in a 58 slab than a 62.

Boy, that did not take long with only 20 scores.

Anyway, absolutely no change in the standing. In fact, there was only one score that even changed - Cazkaboom.

Top 10. Columns are rank, name, average, and number of guesses.
