Just received these Daniel Carr beauties: 1813-2013 Battle of Lake Erie Bicentennial medal, 3 coin set with a satin finish in brass, copper and silver...serial number 46 of 50.

 

From the Patrick mint, the shinny coppers always catch my interest

Wow.... I like those. I have a collection of exonumia, featuring the Canada flag, so of course, I just ordered a set of these medals!!

 

Royal Canadian Mint Medal - Silver medal issued by the Royal Canadian Mint in 1987 to celebrate one billion in sales. The recipient was E.D. Hupe. The medal weighs 169.5 grams and is 75 mm in diameter. What I like about this bit of exonumia, is that it depicts Canadian coins, on a "coin".​

no very rare ones in the bunch but the value being arund $0.40 each, i think i did good

 

I'm awaiting this Canadian merchant token (Breton 574a) which I hope will be a nice match for my original Gnaedinger token dated 1852. It's supposedly brass but the seller's images make it look copper.

I picked up this neat overstrike on a 1975 Lincoln Cent from Ernie Latter at the last Baltimore coin show. This is an unusual pictorial and would be a great piece for a gun enthusiast or collector. I like this style of counterstamp because the coin and date are identifiable although flattened and distorted.

New addition to my recent endeavor to collect 1800's presidential campaign tokens. I was really happy to get this one from Lincoln's first campaign in 1860.

 

Trying out a new display for "pairs", in this case Gnaedinger merchant tokens (Canada).

 

I like any type of Lincoln exonumia mackwork but especially your token. Great pick up.

I really like dogs, and I have a German Shepherd. Came across this and I'm so happy I got it I just had to share right away! Pictures were taken by the seller then cropped and edited by me. I really like some of the Medallic Arts Company's works and there are some I think I'll be adding to my collection in the future.

 

Ok, I've had these a couple weeks now but haven't gotten around to posting them. Today's the day! These coins are Air Force recruiting tokens, dated 1981 and appear to be made out of aluminum. Thought they were neat and if I remember correctly they were about $3 each.

 

This is an unusual rolled English Penny from 1920 that I bought at a small local coin show yesterday. It was issued by the New Jersey Exonumia Society in conjunction with the Garden State Numismatic Association convention in June, 1982 held in Cherry Hill. Apparently, only 4 were rolled so this is pretty rare or possibly unique. I've never seen a rolled coin this large. I thought some of you might be interested in seeing it.
