A belated welcome then. Actually we do have some Irish topics here, such as this one about the "animal series". The Irish coins that I sometimes come across in my change here in DE are unfortunately somewhat monotonous. So go ahead and post punt pieces please ... Christian

Hello ow9654, Welcome to the CoinTalk forum. I have a well circulated silver Ireland bank token but I don't have a photograph available right now.
Wow I love the coins collect89, especially the silver that half crown is really cool thanks for posting them :thumb:
Nice james I bought four 1940`s took the best one and sold the rest they`re fairly expensive if they`re red. I`m only missing one coin from my 1d collection a 1967 which isn`t that expensive
I'm working on a complete set of non-silver Irish coins from 1928 to 2000. In most denominations I only need 1-3 coins, but they aren't listed on eBay a lot so it can go slowly. I've noticed they tend to be popular and get a lot of bids. The farthings and half crowns are especially expensive, and I need more of those than I have. I have five half crowns and four farthings.
Not that I'm really collecting them, but I tend to keep pocket change while travelling over the world, hence a bunch of irish coins from which I selected the two that follow as I like them very much Q
