I have a buffalo nickel that I was wondering if it has any value beyond $0.05 I can't find a year anywhere on it, I'm assuming its just that worn. I'm putting up a couple pictures they are pretty bad but maybe they can be of some help. Thanks
No date Buffalo nickels are very common but they do sell for a quarter or so. Mostly for jewelry and the like.
Does the buffalo have all its legs? Isit standing on a mound or a plain? This coin has the front leg "missing", a "D" mint mark and is standing on a plain. If it on a mound like this one its 1913
Clemson: Welcome, and the date is worn off, it appears to be a type II Buffalo, no date worth about 15 to 20 cents.
I have the same 6 nickels from 1915, 1917, 1936, and three from 1937. And I want to know how much is worth each one.
