Brandon inspired me for this new thread. I am upmost curious to see all the horse coins out there. Thanks in advance for all posts! Here is two of mine I dug out just for the occasion. I hope you enjoy!
Well, I'm up to 59 in my NGC registry custom set here: http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/CoinCustomSetGallery.aspx?s=5705 And, I've recently created a Google Sites location for my raw coins here: http://sites.google.com/site/brg5658/ And, I'll post a few pictures here anyway.

Green18! I love those "America's First Medal" repros. That is such a great set of US Mint Issued medals! :thumb:
I don't know about the ancients, but they are cool! That modern one is a 1953 Coronation Crown from Great Britain. It was minted in about 6 million BU coins, and 40,000 proofs. Here is my proof example.
the first 2 are constantius ii, minted between 337 and 361 ad. the top one was minted in siscia, or modern day sisak, croatia. i can't make out the mint on the middle one. the third is the coronation crown from elizabeth ii in 1953.
They are indeed beautiful and rather reasonably priced if anyone is looking to pick up a few. I think they cost less now than when I bought them from the mint back in the 70's. If anyone's interested......http://www.cointalk.com/members/green18/albums/americas-first-medals/
I have the 4 with horses, but I haven't imaged them yet. They were about $7-$9 each. Can't beat that!
