Thread: For Sale Forum Rules

The for sale forum is now officially open to our membership.


The rules:


You must be a participant of the CoinTalk Forums to post your auction here. A participant is defined as someone who has posted at least ten regular posts in our discussion forums. If you believe you have qualified to post here, but cannot, post a request in our support forum and we will grant you the permissions to post here.


Post only information regarding buying, selling, and trading your coins and Numismatic related items and services (Including Tokens/Medals/Currency ) here. You may post photos, descriptions, and lists of available items. You can post items for sale in the for sale section. You can post want lists in the want list section. You can post trade requests and offers in the trading section. Auction posts should be placed in our auction listing section. You can post related services in the open section.


Please begin only one new thread every 7 days in this section. Supporting members may begin a new thread each day. If you have further information to add during a particular week, please post it by editing your original thread. (NOTE - you only have 24 hrs for editing, after that no editing is permitted) Replies to posts in the advertising forums are not permitted. No non-coin related advertising is allowed. If you have questions, please pm me.

Please select a thread prefix which is appropriate to your listing:

WTS: = Want to Sell
WTT: = Want to Trade
WTB: = Want to Buy
Ebay: = Ebay listings
AD: = Services

When your listing is completed, please select "mark this thread as sold" from the thread tools menu.

Posts that do not comply with the rules may be removed at the discretion of the moderators and failure to comply with the rules repeatedly may jeopardize your membership at CoinTalk. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of the CoinTalk administration.

NOTE - members can now post a reply in their own threads so that they can update the original post. Example - if you were selling multiple items you can post and say that a given item or items out of that group is no longer available. Or you drop the original asking price if you wish. Things like that.

But you are NOT permitted to add additional items to your original post, nor can you "bump" your thread. So please don't try. Doing either of these things will result in the original thread being removed. Repeat offenders will receive infractions, or even lose their posting privileges.
