I came across this 2003 dime as I was going through my jars and it looks quite unique. Look at the continuation of the president's hair ending just above the left eyebrow. Pretty distinctive marking. I have been going through a bunch of dimes but found nothing close to it.Double forehead? Your feed back is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
It's a scar from FDR's brain surgery. All dimes and pics of Roosevelt have it. ....just kidding! But I imagine it's probably PMD.
No way it looks PMD. The groove is continous as part of the original impression. Look at pic carefully. Thanks.
Most likely worn dies Roosevelt Dimes are well know to have a few striking error.fangs at the mouth big die cracks on head.here one with fangs.
I was thinking it might be die deterioration or perhaps the planchet had a defect in that area before the strike. What does the other side of the coin look like?

Hey guys, Love the feedback! Going through some more coins right now. I found 1998 wide AM penny. It's out there but it is tedious work. My eyes gets pretty tired but the payoff could be great. Love it! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!
