theres a matte proof 1909 vdb penny on ebay

    I copied their pics to my desk top and edited them to get more detail and its the real deal its only at less than 20$ with 2 hours left

    I have 6 VDB's Extra Fine to to MS62.

    I just don't like the looks of this coin. OBV looks maybe acid dipped ??? Rubbed with oil ??


    V.D.B. very poor quality

    If nothing else, the proof dies only struck about 1,000 coins. There is no way that VDB could possibly be that worn from 1000 coins. And that does not count the rest of the lettering

    Not even close to an MPL. Rims are rounded and should be razor sharp. Here are how the rims should look.

    Look at the ebay coin, enlarged second photo. Notice the reflection of the edge of the coin? It is beveled ( rounded). Here is a photo of my matte proof, look at the edges, notice right angle and flat polished edges.

    that coin is a joke.i have a better one and only paid 12.00 for it.did you see the dings in it.
