For some reason I did not like the coin - pictures probably. So I would not be surprised to see this one higher than my guess.

I didn't like it much either, although it does have kind of a neat die crack. Still, I tend to guess low, so... 64+1

Some of you really have this down, but it's really hard for me. The motto and date appears to have some doubling going on, but after staring at it, I'll assume it's the lighting.

The right-hand wheat also appears greased, but then again, I know that sometimes pictures will just make them appear that way. Then I look at Lincolns hair, and it appears to be greased as well, especially on the lower back part of the head.

I think I better quit, cause now his eye looks like he is winking, lol.

Whew hew, my 65 is in the majority. I like this thread. I can tell I am getting better at grading my Lincolns. Thanks RLM

TOUGH coin in red!!! Maybe bumped it back to RB, hard to tell from pics, but it looks red.

This is a hard one. I say 64 due to the spot behind his shoulder.

I gave it a 65. I am assuming that spot on the obverse was not there when it slabbed. Branch mint cents from the 20's are known for weak strikes and although this one is slightly weak as evident in the portrait, and wheat stalks, i have seen much worse. Tough coin and fully deserving gem grade imo. rlm i want to thank you for these posts because they have helped me expand my knowledge of this series.

Now, this coins has very few nicks, but also has a marginal strike, not the best luster, and a few spots, mostly small. PCGS gave it a 64 and that sounds reasonable to me.
