Just picked up these little beauties tonight. Please take a look at my article and let me know what you think Thanks Alan http://coinauctionshelp.com/Coin_He...abs-collectors-who-buy-the-slab-not-the-coin/:smile
Like anyone, I am happy when I get some new coins. I like to share them with my friends. I don't start threads for any other reason.... Alan
Nice Kennedy, typical grade for a modern, JMO, the cost of submission outweighs the overall value. I looked up completed listings on eBay, price range was between $15-$23. The 70DCAMS or NGCs UCAM, are only selling from between $44-$48.
I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but if those marks I see aren't on the plastic, then they shouldn't be 69's. Chris
Not when you send in a couple hundred and get a bulk submission price... The return from the 70's offsets the minor loss on the 69's... But I'm sure you know this already.
Hi If I have posted this more than once, then I am sorry. I suffer from short term memory lose (Had a bad Stroke) So again I am sorry I meant no harm. Alan
I agree but for some reason, I've noticed TPG companies seem to rush when grading in bulk and over grade these proofs.
1st eBay not a good place to gather a value any coin. Kennedy are like Roosevelt Dimes silver Proof& Mint stage there 2 coins that over looked and under priced 90% of the time. Here what one good place to get values Kennedy's Silver & Clad. ***1971-S is a sleeper Kennedy Proof PR-67-69 DCAM can cost more than one thinks. 1946-1964-PDS Roosevelt Dime are also a sleeper to.Here where a fair market Value is found & is free to so everyone save the link as you ck out any other graded US coin for free.:kewl::foot-mouth:???? http://www.pcgs.com/PRICES/PriceGuideDetail.aspx?MS=1&PR=1&SP=1&c=125&title=Kennedy+Half+Dollar

No kidding Jello! My 71-S in PR68DCAM set me back a couple of hundred. I would just LOVE scoring a 69DCAM or two. 1972 DCAM's ain't cheap either!
Yup 19:thumb:!! Photo I posted bad as a Cameo shot but in hand its Ultra Cameo & with a re-grade PR-69UC I and a few other thing. plus it was a Free graded when you join Ngc & 12-15 yr old grade too. :kewl:Sleeper 1950-70 Roosevelt Proof Silver Dimes& few Clads PR-68 UC & PR-69UC too
If you mean that 71-S PF-68 Cameo half, what do you mean a 12-15 year old grade? Did you have it reholdered? I ask because that slab style was introduced in 2005 just six years ago.
Hello Jello, Here is the new link for NGC's world coin price guide. NGC supplied the link only yesterday I think. http://www.ngccoin.com/poplookup/World-Coin-Price-Guide.aspx
