    Oliver -

Here's what you need to do.

In your thread that you've already started you need to post all of that info and explain it yourself so the members and the mods will understand what is going on. Otherwise this is going to turn into a mess.

You see, I have since found out that the thread that Silverhouse started was reported by other members because they thought it was a scam of some sort. The people who read it thought that somebody was trying to gather personal information for use with ulterior motives. That's why Silverhouse's thread was deleted. The mods agreed because they didn't know what was going on.

So you can run your contest. But you first have to explain to everybody exactly what it is that you are doing and start over. And specifically name who your Authorized Pals are. Otherwise your threads will continue to be reported by other members and deleted by the mods because nobody knows what's going on.

Personally I think the whole thing is gonna turn into a mess because it's too complicated. People just aren't going to associate the threads made by your AP's with your original thread. And once the threads become separated from one another because of posting order - it's gonna be a disaster.

You can give it a try, but I really think you need to re-think this whole idea.

I think I was asking too much of the readers with this Concept Contest! For example: Pal = Friend; 0.20 oz copper-nickle bullion = clad quarter; "Subscribe" to this thread by "posting" = when you post on a CT thread (reply), you will be notified of further posts by email... If I have to explain the whole thing from the beginning, then why do it? It's like hearing the entire plot of a movie, there's nothing left to experience. So here's some details of what is no longer going to happen. The funniest Idea in the pipeline had krispy playing the part of Dillon Gage with the following post:

NOTICE ABOUT AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL 0.20 OUNCE COPPER-NICKEL BULLION CONTEST COINS:
We have placed our order through Ladies First in accordance with their guidelines. All orders are subject to approval. If confirmed by Ladies First, we expect to begin prizing out contests on May 24, 2011. If more information becomes available before then, we will post it on this thread.
    Thank you for your interest.

Then after a week or two he would have announced that he had taken enough orders and NOT TO PM him! Just like Dillon Gage, he would have only pretended to sell to the general public! Then he would have offered only a couple to the public in a very small and quick contest.

Anyways, thanks to all my Authorized Pals (CT Friends) who took delivery of 0.20 oz copper-nickle bullion (quarters); you can keep them or spend them on laundry!
