I always get woodies wrong. Old print and woodie eye appeal results in a net graded coin with 64 (or higher) surfaces -- IMO of course. 63 rb
Aside from the wood grain, this is still a nice coin. I doubt that the weak strike on the reverse had much affect on the grade. Not many nicks and descent luster. I think it deserves the 64 it got.
I guess they aren't that hard on woodies , thought 64 but put 63 because it's a woodie . Stupid question time , is a woodie caused by improper alloy mixture or sonething else ? Rusty
Duke I have no room to talk cause you're kicking my behind . LOL But the obverse carries more weight than the reverse , I think I read 70% at least at PCGS . Rusty
