I have this one. It works fine and weighs to the hundredth gram: http://cgi.ebay.com/100g-DIGITAL-COI...-/120456455255?
I recommend the Digiweigh. The last link you posted. I bought one from that seller. The scale fits in your coat pocket or bag easily. It comes with a clear plastic cover that pops off and can be used as a tray for loose items. It also comes with two calibration weights. I think my cost, shipped was around $16 in all.
If you are weighing coins to compare with official weights, any with grams ( to .001) or grains ( to 0.1) should do it. If you are interested in bullion or silver content, having one that also weighs in troy ounces helps. If it doesn't state that. it only does avoirdupois ounces. Of course if you have grams, grains, and a calculator, you can derive troy ounces. Jim
I'd be tempted to boycott that seller for keyword spamming. (Is it really a "Morgan" scale, or a "Kennedy half" scale? :rollling: ) I bought one of these (30 x 0.001g) and one of these (300 x 0.01g). They work well, but it took over a month and a half for them to get to me. I wanted milligram resolution for my investigations of wear and weight loss (which ruled out the second one), but I also wanted something that could weigh up to or over a troy ounce (which ruled out the first one). The second one has the capacity to weigh an entire roll of halves, but it can't quite do a roll of silver dollars.
