Draped Bust Coins

"An appreciation of the most beautiful woman to ever appear on a coin, U.S. Draped Bust coins."

The Bust Coin Trading Circle

"The Bust Coin Trading Circle is a private, non-profit enterprise. It has been developed in the hope that it will become an efficient means of exchanging all types of information among early United States coin enthusiasts. Most participants here have been infected with the die variety collecting virus. If you're lucky, you'll catch it, too! Bust Coin series included within our scope are:

Half Cents 1793 to 1857
Large Cents 1787 to 1857
Half Dimes 1792 to 1837
Dimes 1792 to 1837
Quarters 1792 to 1837
Half Dollars 1794 to 1839
Dollars 1794 to 1804
Quarter Eagles 1796 to 1839
Half Eagles 1792 to 1838
Eagles 1795 to 1804"

The Bust Half Nut Club

"The Bust Half Nut Club, BHNC, was established in the late 1960s as a group dedicated to collecting, studying, and sharing information among fellow members about Bust Half Dollars attributed by Overton die marriage. The primary focus over the years has been on Capped Bust Half Dollars (1807-1836). However, an increasing number of members are also keenly interested in the pre-Turban Half Dollars (1794-1807). In addition, the study of die states is quite popular."

John Reich Collectors Society

"The purpose of the John Reich Collectors Society (JRCS) is to encourage the study of numismatics, particularly United States gold and silver coins minted before the introduction of the Seated Liberty design, and to provide technical and educational information concerning such coins."

The Russ Logan Collection

Russ Logan was a collector of bust coinage. He passed away in 2002, but before he did he managed to form one of the great collections of bust coinage. As listed on his memorial page - HERE "He also co-founded the John Reich Collectors Society, a research/education organization for students and collectors of American coinage of the Federal period. Russ won the Jules Reiver Literary Award three times for articles published by the organization's journal, and he co-authored the books Early United States Dimes 1796-1837 (1984) and Federal Half Dimes 1792-1837 (1998), which won the Numismatic Literary Guild Award 2000 and rave reviews."

His collection was sold by Bowers & Merena, but it can still be viewed with pictures and prices realized at the following link. This is a very extensive catalog with as much, maybe more, information than some books on bust coinage.
