Books

Many times collectors can spend years searching for that hard to find, out of print book. But there are search engines out there specifically designed to search just for books. With these links you can probably find just about any book you desire. Book sellers from all over the world are registered with these search engines.

The On-line Books Page -

This site has a huge list of books available on-line for reading & research. Navigation of this site can be tiresome if you don't use the search function. The link I will provide will bring you the listing of books by author & title. But the Search link can be found at the bottom of the page to make things easier.

There are literally thousands of books available to read in their entirety, but of course only some of them have to do with numismatics. You just have to search them out by author or title. This site can be very useful for researching a period of history or a given historical figure.

Timeline -

This site specializes in books on British coinage, but also has books on Celtic, Roman and Greek coins. They even have books on tokens and jetons. So if you're not quite sure about what book you want for the subject, this may be the place to look.
