well i really need a 2001 silver proof set no state quarter and i got a hold of this one...is it worth buying if it goes $35-40? http://cgi.ebay.com/2001-S-5-COIN-SILVER-UNITED-STATES-PROOF-SET-/150513380736?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item230b4bed80 Also do 1971 proof sets exist with Silver??
The only coins containing silver in 1971 was the 40% clad Ike Dollar. This was not included in the proof set. These were sold individually by the mint. These are the "Brown Pack" Ikes which you may have heard of. On the 2001, I really didn't dig too far, but I found one site selling the 10 coin set (includes quarters) for $165 retail + S/H. Maybe someone else has a more detailed answer for you.
Thanks Although i know theres 10 piece but, im only looking for the 5 piece because buying the 10 piece just to much for me. (BTW there selling the 10 piece silver for about $70-80 in ebay) Thanks for the help either way :thumb:
