    that is pretty amazing. The city wide look was a popular theme in the arts at this time and the enlightened despots liked to promote this image on the way to what Eugene Webber has called the Western advance to modern Nation Socialism (of with the Nazi's were a twisted sister of).

    I dont exactly know what it is but I really like it.
    I think it is a Double Taler from the city of Donauworth circa 1548.
    It is uniface but I have both sides. The 3rd picture is of the reverse of one of the pieces.
    It is approx 2"x2"
    It looks cast like but, from the few people who have examined it & are versed in this time period of coinage say it is authentic.

    Maybe you didn't hear the new laws in the books, Budgood... all coins have to be returned to their rightful place of origin. I'll take this one off your hands for you! ;)

    That NFLD cent is simply stunning! I have never seen one that nice.
    I wonder what ICCS would grade that--MS65-66?
