forget about the cleaned description, it looks like a hole was punched (started) on the reverse at about 6 o'clock.
I saw that and thought that was gunk, because holes don't usually look like that. Meh, we'll see. Compared to what I saw on heritage, $40 is nothing though.
I'm no US dime expert, but assuming that isn's a partial hole, that seems like a fairly good deal. You'll have to let us know...

I didn't overpay, not by a long shot actually. You should check the prices on heritage. I mean, at least in terms of 'market value'.
