I recently inherrited a very old coin collection.. I think we found a 20 dollar gold ingot parsons 1860, This could be the third one!!! Even the type pouch is offset I hope the photos come out ok..

So is your opinion that it could be a fake strictly based on the fact that the piece is in a 2x2 ? If I was to show you double eagles that are raw in ms that are in 2x2 you would tell me that they could be fake ? It’s hard to give any opinion on a piece when you are dealing with a 50x50 pixel image …
i also have one incased in plastic i did some research and there is only 2 known maybe a 3 who knows i think 1 is still being looked at the other in musuem not sure but the way to tell is by the spelling on one of the words is spelled different then the fakes do research let me no ok thanks good luck
