hi. my friend gave me this coin hoping that i can figure out what it is. its heavily corroded so it may be hard figuring it out. he said he found it while fishing up in maine. he thouhgt it was a dirt M&M and started cleaning it. it looks to be made of brass or gold. thanks
Hmmm well the fact that it is corroded proves it isnt gold...looks like there is some sort of design on it though.
