Ok, I joined this forum for I love collecting French gold 20 Francs. I have the entire original line in sequencial order Starting with the Napoleons and ending with the two versions of the roosters. I have been thinking about collecting mexican and latin american coins next as well as build up on my ancients. I also enjoy reading about other people's collections. To me it is more interesting then watching so called reality TV or reading gossip in a magazine. Just wanted to say that.

I have a bunch of the "chickens" (per post above ), but in general.... how can one go too wrong with gold?
i went to take a picture of my safe with its eclectic contents, but apparently my 'ccd' chip went bad. Now i have to send it in to Sony to get it fixed. I have a 'WIDE" mix if American coinage. I got something from each century, from each denomination of both coins and currency, as well as a large assortment of commems. 'if' i ever get my camera back, i will have to take a pic and post
