What does a blank grade column mean?? PMG Online Status

I sent a single side-only error World note in and it has no grade despite having a status of "Finalized/Imaged/Shipped" (screenshot below). The other note I sent has a grade on it.

Does this mean that they couldn't grade it since it's missing a whole side so it can't be authenticated (but the entire other half can be authenticated and it would be sufficient... right?)? Did I have to submit it as an error and pay for that service? Yet, they designated it exactly as how I submitted it. Or does this mean that they believe it's fake (but why is there no comment of "counterfeit" or similar?)? Or, is it somehow their policy not to grade unissued notes (I believe I saw a graded one of this denomination and I called them in advance about it, too)? Maybe it's just a typo... I do wish they wrote something in the Comments field...

It'll probably get here in two weeks or so, but if you all know and it happens to be, say, an error designation payment that's required, then maybe I can resolve it with them over the phone instead of getting it back without a PMG sealed holder. Has anyone experienced a blank grade like this, and how did it turn out?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi iPen,
Do you mind sharing what happened? I have a single-side error banknote with the other side blank and I was wondering what PMG does in such cases.

    Thanks

I would contact Jennifer at PMG, and ask her.

You can email her at service@pmgnotes.com
She is usually very prompt at answering questions.

It say signatures unissued , this may have something to do with it ? I do not know I am only guessing. Perhaps they need to have the signatures on the bill , or is it that some do not come with signatures? thank you

I think you'll need to ask PMG as to their policy. There isn't anything fundamentally stopping them from grading it unless it is their policy (or a problem with how it was submitted - in which case they should have notified you).

IIRC, PMG couldn't completely verify the note given that there was no serial number or something. From what I understand, the quality control of these notes weren't the best either, so that may make it harder to authenticate.
