"The Flag of Our Nation" Civil War Token... No Date?

Hi all,

Here is a presumably 1863 Civil War Token. This is not a very rare token and can be found quite easily online. However, I have never seen one with out 1863 below the flag. Someone fill me in on what I am missing!

EDIT: Found one graded by NGC and it is just a different variety for the token.

Not at all unusual to see a Civil War Token undated. There are thousands of Die combinations to explore. Ken Bauer's web site is a valuable site. That's a pretty cool token. I'd like to find one from both sides...first I've seen of one.

 

I just sold one. Easy to find in circulated. Hard to find in AU (the one I sold was a dark AU55BN). MS examples are struck in unobtanium - I thought I had one bought, hence the sale of the AU, but apparently the online seller didn't know he still had it listed in his automated storefront. He also didn't let me know this until I emailed him a week later to get shipping information, at which point he refunded me.

 

Yeah I've been looking for a AU. Haven't found one yet.
