    Hey all,
I am starting a collection of 2009 Silver 1 oz. coins from different countries. I was wondering what countries issued/are issueing a 1 oz silver coin in 2009.

So far I have this list:
    American Silver Eagle
    Australian Kangaroo
    Australian Koala
    Australian Kookaburra
    Austria
    Brittania
    Canadian Silver Maple Leaf
    Chinese Panda
    Mexico

That is a VERY cool collection idea. Do post picks when you get your collection going...

Just updated my list at the top. Thanks for everyone's support. 2009 is my 20th birthday so I figured it would be cool to create some sort of set to remember the year!

Thats a good $250 collection. That will be hard to forget for sure.
Now you need to get a custom album page to put them in or frame them and hang them on the wall. Just think if you did this every year ...that would be a great looking collection.

Thanks, ya it will take some time and money to compile but will be well worth it in the end. I was thinking about storage/display for it and I was thinking maybe a custom frame with them in airtites or maybe slab them all. Not sure yet.

    Great start!
I've been working on my World Silver collection for a little over a year.

    So far I have:

    American Silver Eagle
    All 3 Australian Koalas
    Austrailian Kookaburra
    Austrian Philharmonic
    Canadian Maple leaf
    2 China Padas
French Ultimate Franc, about 1/2 ounce.
All 7 of the Britannia Patterns
Iceland 500 Kronur, Not 1 ounce, but still looks nice
    Maria Theresa Thaler
Both versions of the Mexican Onza, small and large
    Morgan Dollar
    Peace Dollar
    New Zealand Kiwi
    Russian St. George
    Zambia 5000 Kwatcha

Currently searching for an 8 Reales Pillar Dollar

I am in the process of doing them all up in a book form, with history and photos. When I am complete I will have published hard bound for my library. Still a lot of work to do and the photos still don't look right. This has been a fun project fro me and I hope it will be as enjoyable for you. Good luck with your collection. Mike

I have seen the Isle of Man gold coins. The sizes I have seen are 1/25, 1/20, and 1/10. I think most if not all of the Isle of Man gold coins have different types of cats on them based in the minted year. I also think that there is one of an Angel on it but I do not what year that was minted.
