Had a bit of luck at the bank yesterday, I asked for rolls of half dollars and surprisingly received a 10$ roll.
The wrapper looked quite old and had silver written in faint ink, turned out to be a full roll of JFK: hail: 65-69 40%s with
    1 64 90%.
About $55 melt for 10$ invested, always fun to add to the collection without spending money at the coin shop.

Why doesn't this ever happen to me? All I get is Presidential dollars!

If you are paying for rolls of half dollars and receiving rolls of presidential dollars, I'd say you were doing pretty well.

On the other hand, if you are asking for rolls of dollars and expecting to find silver halves, your chances of success are greatly reduced.

No, I go to the bank, and many banks aswell, and I ask for about everything! For liberty walking, silver halves, or anything else i can think of. Even wheat pennies, but all they say is "no, sorry. But we do have golden dollars!". And they show me presidential dollars. Not cool!
