So the bank has turned to dumping all of the things that they don't want on me since they see me every day. This week I picked up a mint sealed (as in some dude paid more than face for them) roll of 2000 P and 2010 P sac/native american dollars...and one String and Sons sealed roll of the 2010s as well...what should I do with them? Should I bust them all out and dump them? Is it worth the work and effort to make a buck on them on ebay? What do you think...It looks like the 2010s are going pretty well on ebay...

Keep them in the rolls. Might be worth a buck or two if its sealed.

Regarding the roll of 2000P, I'd really be curious to know what is inside. Granted, it is assumed that all of the Cheerios Sac's were supposedly distributed in the cereal boxes, but there is no hard evidence to disprove the possibility that some may still have been held, unknowingly, by the Mint and distributed with the regular issue.

I'd hate to bust the two mint rolls haha...what would the cheerios sacs look like? I was curious about what, if anything, to look for...

If you don't need em for lunch money, keep rm rolled. You bought them at face so there is no downside. Only up if they rise in cost over the years. Just my 100 cents.

You can read about it here, and see the diagnostics for it.

No one paid extra for the 2000 P mint roll, the mint did not sell rolls that year, but they did ship out the rolls direct to the banks in the yellow wrappers mark US MINT. So there are a ton of true Mint wrapped rolls of the 2000-P and 2000-D Sac out there.

There were between 29 and 36 of the gold ones made, 12 were flown on the Sally Ride Shuttle mission, first woman astronaut, they were displayed immediately after the flight and then hidden away at Fort Knox. They have made at least one other public appearance at an ANA convention (at which it was claimed this was their first public appearance) and then went back to Fort Knox. All of the others that didn't fly were destroyed, I have never heard any rumors that some were unaccounted for.

You should take them to a coin dealer. The guy that i buy all my coin's from he buy the sac's for like $1.25 each if thier unc. But you would probbally make more than that on ebay. Like my grandfather used to say a fast nickel is better than a slow dime!

I got a mint roll of 2000 Sac coins last week. The paper is worn on the roll, but 100% in tact and mint stamped.
