Andre, could you post both sides of this coin, and if you can see the letters on it, even if only few, can you write them down? As to the second question (15 UK pounds for 500 coins), that depends on what you want them for. If you want to make quick profit, forget it. You can spend your money on lottery with similar chance of success (non-zero, but quite small). If you want to have few hours fun of finding out what they are and from where etc., then by all means, get them. On ebay foreign coins go for about US$5-US$10 per pound, so your deal is similar.
