I Not to this day have I’ve found a 09 in my search efforts. Mostly shoping change.

 

I've managed to find a few 2009 nickels, but that's from actively searching $1000 worth of nickels. Not found any dimes as of yet, but tbh not actively looking.

 

Nickel Box #11:

Nothing that wasn't a Jefferson nickel sadly, but it wasn't entirely unproductive.

The highlights: 1938 nickel which I needed for my collection (finally got the first year of Jefferson nickels!). Also got a really nice 1959 (key date!) in probably XF/AU condition, a nice upgrade!

And the rest of the finds worth saving:

2009-D (kind of ugly condition, but still saving these)

They look great! And excellent grades also!

 

Still sorting, but got a good amount done. Those bags are what remain and should all have 1954 and older coins in them. Pulled from my coin roll hunting fun. I’m organizing by date, then will look for Hennings and major varieties.

I bought a box of halves from my friendly bank manager recently. My expectations took a turn for the worse once seeing it was a Loomis box. No silver finds again! The highlight was scoring a 1992 proof. There were five NIFC’s and twenty eight AU or better 2023-D’s.

 

Back to nickels today. I got through about 3,000. Those stacks are all 1954 and earlier nickels.

 

Great finds! A lot of value and variety there!!!

 

Let's have a close, close look at both sides of those 1916 and 1917 nickels. And the 1912, for that matter!

 

I’ll get some in a couple weeks. Still have a ton of nickels to go through, so I’ll wait until I’m ready to sort out all the interesting ones. Spoiler: no mint mark on either 1912. Found a few more, to include 2x very worn 1913-D T1s.

 

Another 2,000 nickels searched. The upper row of silver nickels in the red box are all new finds.

Indeed, am very blessed to have such a bountiful source. I did 2,000 more nickels.

 

I consider myself doing well when I manage to find a Buffalo every other box lol. Reminds me, need to pick up another box soon.
