The stains SEEMED to spread with a soaped toothbrush.
And acetone didn't do a thing for them.
    So it's a filler anyhow

Also a 40D in the same roll.

Glad you guys had some luck today.
I went through my 6 boxes of halves.
    1-40%er and 1-64P.
Almost all the rest were 95Ps. I have no idea where they are coming from. That is almost 12 solid boxes of 95P over the last month.

I had a whole box of 95Ps in April in the DC area, weird. Pretty coins, almost like mint rolls but in Loomis rolls

I got a whole box of 99D's once. I live next to the Denver Mint, probably something to do with it.

I'm not in DC, just stopped on my way through at a WF and they had a box, so I grabbed it. Other times I've been in DC I've found it hard to search, not knowing the area well enough to get a rhythm.

I have gone through 2 boxes of pennies and got 8 wheat's the first box, 1945 being the oldest and 9 in the second box, 1937 being the oldest. I have a question for the Roll Searchers, how do you open your roll of coins? Do you crack it open like an egg or do you tear the paper off the roll? If you tear the paper of is there an easy way of opening the roll? I would think opening the rolls by cracking them open might not be good for the coins. Just wondering what is the best or easiest way.

I peel it open. People have this method of peeling that they are able to re-wrap them with the same wrappers. They'll be able to give more information.

I peel my rolls. My bank gives me wrappers.

I went to at least 10 banks today, came out with 10.5 dollars in halves. The only thing of note is a really nice 2003S proof (clad sadly).

If it's beautiful and I don't already have it it gets kept!

    Final count 172-40% 21-90%, 3-87s, 72S(clad), 77S(clad), 99S(clad), 76S(clad)

Thought I would have time to lay they out and snap a picture. Tomorrow?

I only got to do 6 rolls of cents and 2 rolls of dimes today. Absolutely nothing worth mentioning.

Wish I had that kind of funds to dedicate to this. Way to go!

Got $100 in dimes from the CU and another $100 from WF and found a very nice, bright '64 Roosie. I thought I found another one in the next roll, but it turned out to be a 1984 that somebody spray-painted silver. On average, I'm finding one silver dime for every $250-worth of dimes.

That's about right. One per $250 of dimes is my average too. If you are just looking for silver I suggest doing halves if you can get ahold of them. Much more reward than dimes.

$60 CWR halves and $10 MWR halves yielded only 2 NIFC.
