    Were there any anthony dollars struck for circulation in 1999? I hate anthony dollars but it just seems odd to see one dated post 81...

    I beleive they started production again because the amount on hand from the earlier years was running out (where did they go, i never really saw them) and they needed more dollar coins before the new Sac. dollars would begin production, so they brought SBA back to life, so to speak! I never saw any of the 99's in circ...
