Quarter Collar Clash

    Looks like the reeded edging carried over a bit...it's common and it varies...sometimes you can see more of it from the front-on view...sometimes it's hardly visible...if that's what you're seeing. The ridge/collar itself looks normal to me.

    While I don't look at hundreds of quarters, like a CRHer, I don't see anything other than an ordinary, circulated quarter. The doubling appears to be MD to me. Maybe it being a strong strike makes it appear different to the OP.
