Thursday and Friday the boss bought a few nice collections from the same source. Actually local diamond dealers that came across them and knew where to take them.

First set had a complete set of Peace Dollars. Nice coins too.
It also included a complete set of Mercury Dimes including the 16-D.

Stored in old albums. Old PVC laden albums. Aaaaaghhhh! Nothing like slimy, green rimmed key dates.

Yesterday we dug through the second collection. Nothing fancy except the complete set of Washingtons including VF-ish 32D and S. Yup, PVCville.
    Complete set of Walkers same.

Now my head is reeling folks so what's the next surprise? Well Lincoln cents of course!
ALL of the semi keys and those pesky SVDB and 14D coins tossed in to further make me ill.

I have this strange feeling I'll be playing with Acetone a lot in the next week or so.

Know your holders folks. Make sure they are inert. These sets would have got a lot more money had they not been in PVC laden albums. Now the boss will have to pay me to hopefully bring them back to life.

Many of you know how I feel about "cleaning" coins. Oh well, I'll get more practice at it methinks.

    Hi everybody

a number of my sets are in the old Whitman albums. Are there replacement sleeves for these albums or should I remove the coins and get new albums?

    Thanks, Mike
