Shout out to Flip...thanks for the heads up! I appreciate your help and knowledge. < $ 18.00 shipped. Now yeah not the best looking specimen...but filled the void until better comes along at a do able price point. Better date very hard to find at times. Mintage 260,000 no brainer...duh
1775 Machin’s Mills 1/2d $12 This one is probably more valuable than the CC Morgan. Would be an easy VF with gorgeous surfaces for a colonial but some idiot had to scratch a T on the reverse
Another cheap pickup, holed but not in a place that distracts, however the reverse has some issues that may cause it to be returned if its to bad. But under 28$ not bad for a 400 year old silver coin. Poland Sigmund
Got this for less than melt on eBay several months ago. Just arrived in my mailbox earlier today after a prolonged stint in postal purgatory. Obverse: Reverse:
That's an interesting one since Spence Army Airfield didn't exist until 1941. I suppose the Barber half was still circulating.
Some people actually do collect the modern stuff. I am back to 1930 on the other end of these Lincoln Cents.
It is tough to get graded uncirculated silver coins that are more than 100 years old for under $50. This one cost me $47.25 with S&H.
Part of a 42 coin/medal/Token group I got for $55 given the cool factors of the other stuff I would say this is under $50
