I didn't even realize it was a star note until I bought it. I gave him 20 bucks for two silver certificate 5 dollar bills and two silver certificate 1 dollar bills.

 

I don't collect bills, but I'll pull them out if I see something old. 1963 * note

 

Here's what I've saved so far...apologize for the Excel formatting...but I just did an inventory last night...so I'm kind of excited about it...lol
Sorry...having trouble with format. In preview it works...when posted, it's completely disorganized. Will try to keep at it until I get it figured out.

 

Stars in change and the ATM over the past week. The 20 is in really good shape.

bump the old thread. i have just about got my catalog of star notes caught up (i think i have a couple dozen more hiding somewhere at home that need to be logged and filed). the link is to a google spreadsheet. just about every one of the notes listed is directly from circulation. will continue to update as i go.

I have a $5 silver certificate star note.

 

My 2nd lowest serial star note find. Would probably grade VG 10 its as limp as wet noodle. But none the less still a neat find and glad to pull it from circulation before it gets any worse.
