When I upgrade to something like the rainbow toned one in the Newman sale a couple years ago I might. I kinda regret not pulling the trigger on it but was a lot I think $1700+

Boy, that is some nice design. It should be what it once was--a circulating coin, but I will settle for a new bullion coin design.

A major upgrade within my collection. If you follow me I did have a PCGS MS66+RD 1972 Doubled Die Obverse Lincoln Memorial CAC certified example in my collection for a long time. I bought that coin many years ago and had it sent into CAC. I do love the high grade Lincoln doubled die varieties and of course had hopes of upgrading someday. PCGS grades 24 in MS67RD and NGC grades 8. None are graded higher by either TPG. The last 4 examples graded MS67RD by PCGS sold for between $8500 and $12000. Had not seen a NGC example for sale in 8 years. I sold my PCGS example along with some other high grade wheat cents and was the winning bidder for this NGC MS67RD CAC certified example for a lot less than any of the PCGS examples. CAC only certifies 3 in this grade by either TPG with none higher [IMG] [IMG]
