    Tuppence, isn't it? Steve Martin said he really liked his dental hygienist, so he would eat a box of Oreos before he went for a cleaning...she would clear the rest of the day for him :)

    The 1797 cartwheels contained a full ounce of copper in the penny, and two ounces in the two pence. The two pence was pretty close to the same diameter as our silver dollar but weighed close to three times as much, and were made from a less dense metal. Oh yes they were thick.
