OK another coin, this time it's a 1941 Dime with the top of the O in ONE DIME missing

    Here's a 1941 pretty good condition Mercury Dime. The only problem...the top of the O in ONE DIME seems to have been sheared off! Any comments or ideas on how something like this could have happened? At the Mint, PMD? All comments are welcome, thanks.

    Most likley what dt said, dosent look like its taken completly off looks like its bent into the inside of the 0, probably got nicked
