Added 5 new not so cheap coins for my collection while I was in Thailand, the last 5 pictured, and the others are additions from two lots of coins sent in for grading that came while I was gone.

Nice pickups. Where did you go? My wife is from Lampang, up by Chieng Mai. We went to Phuket last time.

I collect mainly pre-flat coinage of Siam. I am on the lookout for a 1 baht from Rama V if I find one though. I would want that one certified, though, since 99% of all of them in existence are fakes.

I guess you don't remember me. We met at one of the money shows years ago. Wife is from Buriram. I remember what you collect. I am still trying to fill in holes in my collection.

Those are very nice coins. I don't collect foreign coins for the most part, but my father did a lot of traveling from WWII until Vietnam. Most of them a very nice from the South Pacific. Do you know who does their minting?

They have their own mint now that does everything as far as I know. It's outside of BKK in Pathum Thani. You can visit it and there is a nice museum of their money upstairs
