New addition to My Morgan Collection (2)

    This came in today, I don't like it so much. I almost want to question PCGS's grade here. Liberty has a weird dark spot on her face, almost like a smudge or discoloration. The Cert# verifies out at PCGS so it's genuine... but still. ehk!

    I think it's just beginning to tone a bit. Still, a very nice coin.

    I think it is a good honest 64. Above 64 coin strikes and lusters need to get near perfect with no substantial hits or nicks.

    Possibly they thumbed it trying to hide the scratch on the cheek to get a higher grade (65) upon submission? It is still a nice 64 though

    I agree - looks like a 64 to me. To me it looks like cabinet friction that may have just take a little of the luster - cause I can see the rest of the luster around the coin.
