I just bought and paid for this... I think the grade is a little generous, but I got a decent deal at $810. free shipping.. The Bag marks seem kinda severe for a 66... any comments?
Beautiful...absolutely beautiful. Yeah, it is a little baggy for a MS66, but not only is it a CC Morgan but it's a GSA CC Morgan and as a result the TPGs do give the coins a little bump. But, it is a great coin to be proud of!
I could have seen that coin in a 65 holder... but im not sure I like it (from those pics at least) in a 66 holder.
I would call it a low end 66. I think the pics are a little dark, and there seems to be some frost breaks (which don't affect the grade), but it all makes the coin look worse than it really is.
Let's hope it is better in hand... I will add pics to this thread when I get it. I can't wait! My first CC in such a high grade.. Here is the Auction photo (the others are from NGC)
