My first expeirience with cointalk

    I remember I was looking for a coin forum i googled coin forums and cointalk was the first or second i saw so out of habit I clicked on it I decided to check out how long it would take to register and I got started in a few minutes! Thankes Coin Talk, your one of the best things that ever happened to me

    Son, stick with it, don't waver and you won't regret getting into the hobby. Years from now when your a grandfather and showing your grandkids the collection, maybe giving them a wheatback or two remember this forum. It will make you smile :)

    I only wish I had started at your age when things were more affordable.....but then I didn't have any money.:(

    Isn't that the truth? When I started with coins in 1978, $20 was a big spending decision, now look what it gets!

    That's nothing. I still remember when the 1943 Lincoln Cent came out and you could pull it out of change with a magnet.
