What was the most number of coins (FRN's are included in this) that were "special" found in a day? Today I got 1946-P nickel 2004-P Louisiana Purchase 2004-P "Boat Nickel" (3) 2005-P Ocean in View nickels in circulation.
I went through about $1500 in Halves one day. Found probably 50-60 or more silver halves (Kennedys) and a San Deigo Commerative Half... That was my best day!!! SM
I seldom find anything in change anymore. However, i'm glad to hear someone is finding those Licolns in change. I used to have thousands of the old Wheat backs and not to long ago I took a pile of coins to the bank and threw in about 50 or so Wheat backs. All in very poor condition or large mint quantities. Way back some years ago I used to get $50 bags of pennies from the bank and go t hrough them on cold winter knights. Ended up with lots of the Wheat backs but that was a long time ago.
Finally finished with 30 rolls of nickels. A few nice finds, and one roll of unc buffalo p's. The cents are a depressing story for another day.
Best find was $500 in 40% halfs and $20 in 90% and 1 pocket piece barber half. All from $1200. I bought $600 then went back for the other $600 later in the day.
