So I researched online. Read some articles. Called various people. Not on NGC site images. You find a coin you wish to get grated. But your not sure what to get minted for. " mint error" or " variety error"?? It is on the variety list but only for the Obverse side of it. (NOT) the reverse side of that coin. 1972 D half dollar. 2017 D penny with a "strike through" "machine error" . (In God we trust) the "IN" has a 90 degree (G) counter clockwise on the up leg like a devil tail to the naked eye. A j with a mag. A 2020 D SOMOA quarter with the lettering stretched like 3D bubble shadow. The one with the mother and son bats. So what is it? Is it a mint error or variety error. There clearly new discoveries. I found as the covid-19 started. Getting pretty good at it too.
I understand the meaning of each singular word, but, when put together like that ???????????????????????????????????
Minting 1010? Is that anything like Minting 101? OP should learn to proofread before posting, but if they did and it made sense to them, then I'd say, "cut back on the meds."
Most of the time, coins as this turn out to be nothing special or damaged. The members here will help you decide if you ask about ONLY ONE COIN AT A TIME and post a picture with an explanation of what you see that they should be looking for.
However, everyone please note that his last line confirms that he is "...getting pretty good at it..."
Hey, @Marco A. Lopez improving your writing and speaking skills is a never-ending task for all of us (or should be). If you have questions and want to submit for grading, if you aren't a member of any of the national organizations, your best bet is to take the coins to a local shop and have the owner submit them for you.
I don't know, I've seen coins that I think should be grated. And of course some that HAVE been grated.
