    6, 7, 1, 8, any order after that.

Just joined the forum today. This is my first post here. I got into coins when a buddy gave me 16 silver maples, a year later they spotted. Sold them to diversify and became addicted to coins(primarily perth mint numismatic bullion, obsolete us silver and 3rd reich coins). I think my favorite coin that I own is th 1907 $10 liberty head or 40th anniversary alien 2oz pcgs ms70 from Perth mint.

Thanks for having me. Thanks to the sponsors for their generosity! Good luck everyone

    ENTRY POST!!!

Prize choices are 7,6,3,8,9,5,1,2,4. Wonderful prizes, as usual! Thank you to all who donate each month!

I found all three of these Lincoln’s in our local coinstar. The first I believe is a dryer coin. The second i think (and was told) could be a capped die. And the third is a minor lamination error. Did my research earn me a passing grade?? I would love to hear what you think. Thank you.

I’m glad they are putting coins with the W mint mark in the U.S. Mint coin sets.

@Devyn5150, Wholly guacamole that's a nice set! I'm not going to pile on you since there is a solid consensus (& really, you were teasing, right?) but is that actually a cigar ashtray & scotch glass coaster?

Here's a " Bicentennial set" that was my Grandfather's. Except for the most current ones, they're just copies but it's cool to see what many of them looked like. He was a long time collector and I was very fortunate to get his complete Peace Dollar set.

    My picks, if I'm so lucky, are 6, 1, 2, 7, 5, 4, 3, 8, or 9.

Thanks again for another fine contest.

I think you have them named properly, but maybe not in order.
What I see is 1) the Capped die, also 2)
and 3) the dryer coin, also 4)
    and finally, 5) the lam error,also 6)
in other words, the capped die is the one that's blurry and hard to read, the dryer coin is the one with zinc (white color) showing through, and the lam error is the one that looks like it's peeling up in areas.

I hope that helps. Of course, I may be completely wrong.

@paddyman98 is our resident error specialist. He already knows more about errors than I will probably ever learn.

Thank you for verifying those for me Hookman. For some reason the pictures got moved around when I attached them to my post. @paddyman98, do you agree with Hookman and me? It took a lot of researching to even find out anything on a “capped die”. And finally the question that is inevitable...I know the value of the dryer coin is one cent, but any idea on the other two? It’s not of major importance to me. The hunt was far more valuable, but it would be nice to show my family that those many hours were well spent. LOL
