Zippy Kitty couldn't find my copy of the German-English Numismatic Dictionary so she gave up. I have a printed copy, but it's available free online. Sorry, I don't have the link. Extremely useful when using German language reference books.

I'll let Zippy Kitty know about the translator site, but she lost her computer privileges for a while. She likes to take my credit card when I'm asleep and order white mice and parakeets from the local pet store

Reshot this beautiful German 5 Mark coin today. I bought it while I was deployed in Africa and sitting on midnight shift with nothing but ebay to keep me company. It was purchased for less than melt value and I didn't even get to see it until several months later when I came home. Needless to say, I was quite happy with the purchase!

I recently acquired this Guernsey 1868 4 doubles. Nothing special but significant in that it completes my pre-decimal Guernsey collection, 1830-1966.

Mr. Cook was a bit of an eccentric....he CLEANED many of his coins, which is thankfully, noted by PCGS. watch for this.. safly he did this even on very rare, high grade examples. Sigh!
