I actually think your 66 shows a bit more hair detail than mine, at least right over the ear.

Nice looking 54. And it looks good for a 64.

I'm a fan of toned coins and you got a good one.

You ought to see all WLs coins. He has a 1914 Lincoln that will knock your socks off.

Micbraun, here's the reverse. PCGS gave it FBL. However that kind of stuff always seemed random and arbitrary to me. I kind of wish the TPGs would drop all those added categories like FBL.

Thanks ChiefBull. Here is the infamous 1914 Matte Proof Lincoln. I wish the U.S.Mint still made Lincolns that looked like this. It looks like a museum scupture -- a true work of art. There is just no artistry coming from the mint anymore. (IMHO)

Not too often I get to add gold to my collection but I unloaded some crap ancients I didnt want anymore to a dealer and put it towards a new gold piece. Wish I could do this more often.

In my entire Lincoln collection I do not think I own a single one that has that much detail on both the obverse and reverse. The facial details, beard, hair, wheat stalks, toning and everything are stunning

I agree. I looked at your photos again. Here's a '84 CC MS66, that exhibits the same weakness above the ear as yours. I bought this for the toning and of course, that it's a high grade. I won it at a Legend~Morphy auction (now just Legend).
