Keep 'em or spend em?

    Hello everyone!

I've been lurking for a while and finally have a question to ask :)

I just picked up about $100 worth of consecutive, totally crisp, uncirculated 2003 Minneapolis (I) $2 bills from my bank. They're pretty high serial numbers beginning I09129302B and running on.

My question is should I just spend them or are they of value as a consecutive run?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look for stars, or any varieties in the bundle. Then if you don't find anything pleasing, spend them or give em back to the bank.

I say keep the first 5 or 10. That way in 50 or 60 years they may be worth something. Then again, if you really want to wait that long, you should just keep them all lol. I'm a believer in hoarding so if I were you I would probably keep them. It depends on what your intrest is with them though. Are you collecting them or did you just run across them and decide to pick them up?

I was returning the coins I'd roll hunted. I cash them in for bills, check the bills for stars etc then use the notes I don't want to buy more rolls. I try and get different low denomination bills each time ($1s $2s $5s) so I have plenty of bills to search. This time I just hit on these.

I had a couple of 2003 I $2's stashed away so I swapped that pair for a run of 5 from this bunch. I'll spend the rest on rolls of pennies and nickels and a six pack of beer I guess :)
