Does anyone know of any imperial russian mintmarks? The only one I've heard of is a double star on the rim of roubles which indicates the Brussels mint :S This sounds quite wierd to me that an empire the size of Russia had coins minted in Belgium

Good image eddiespin. There is one major mint missing there, that is the Osaka Mint in Japan.

The first coin is struck in Osaka mint and the second one in Petrograd. The difference is the mint master which is not shown under the double headed eagle.
